His main contributions to Rimon are developing the emphasis on current technology and music production through curriculum implementation.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Izhar holds a master\u2019s degree from New England Conservatory of Music where he studied with <\/span><b>George Russell, Bob Moses, Herb Pomeroy<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and <\/span><b>Jerry Bergonzi<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.\u00a0 He was the lead musician for<\/span><b> Boston Jazz Composers Collective<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, which had concerts with <\/span><b>Maria Schneider<\/b><b>, David Fiuczynski, <\/b><b>Tim Burn, Sam Rivers, the Fringe Trio, Lazlo Gardoni, Fred Ho,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and many others. Before returning to Rimon, Izhar served as music products industry\u00a0 Business Development and Marketing Manager for <\/span><b>Cakewalk\/Roland, Izotope, Frontier Design <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and collaborated with<\/span><b> Apple, Avid, Intel, and Peavey.<\/b><\/p>\r\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Staying connected and building industry relations worldwide is what Izhar encourages at Rimon. \u201cPartnerships allow us to have\u00a0 a global influence on music\u201d. Izhar has been a key leader regarding the longstanding Berklee\/Rimon relationship, and oversees and directs the different facets of the academic partnership.\u00a0 Izhar envisions the school continuing to expand its reach across the music landscape for alumni and students alike.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><b>English Program Specialist, Darcie Nicole<\/b><\/p>\r\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A graduate of <\/span><b>Berklee College of Music<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, Darcie is a longtime vocalist, top-line songwriter, and music business\/publicity subject matter expert. Her private clients have been featured in major media outlets around the world. Her interns and mentees have gone on to work for top-tier music industry companies and artists.\u00a0 Darcie has worked for over 35 years in multiple capacities on various high-profile events and projects with executives and recording artists in R&amp;B, Soul, Hip-Hop, and Jazz. During the coaching, the students will acquire empowering tools to deal with difficulties, barriers and conflicts, in addition to providing individual counseling and guidance on a variety of topics such as: learning disabilities, attention and concentration disorders, organization, time management, project management as well as emotional and practical difficulties in dealing with a new system.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To schedule an appointment, please send an email to: <\/span><a href=\"mailto:maximovorit@gmail.com\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">maximovorit@gmail.com<\/span><\/a><\/p>\r\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><b>RIMON FACULTY WHO TEACH IN THE ENGLISH PROGRAM<\/b><\/p>\r\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><b>Asaf Finkelstein, Piano and Music Theory<\/b><\/p>\r\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A pianist, arranger, composer, and lecturer, Asaf is a Rimon alumnus who graduated from<\/span><b> Berklee College of Music<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> before earning a master\u2019s in composition (scoring for media track) from the <\/span><b>Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0 Asaf holds a teaching certificate from <\/span><b>The Kerem Institute, Jerusalem<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and wrote a thesis on contrapuntal networks in the 17th century at <\/span><b>Bar-Ilan University<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.\u00a0 Asaf led the trio <\/span><b>ASAF 3.0<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> which performed and recorded his own music, and the tribute band <\/span><b>Osef Priti<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> which performs vocal arrangements of Israeli classics, and various other bands, in a variety of styles.\u00a0 His composing projects include the film <\/span><b><i>Cut<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> directed by <\/span><b>Tommy Lang<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b><i>Hades&#8217; Helmet Wearers<\/i><\/b> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">by<\/span><b> Gal Nissim<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> at the <\/span><b>Tel Aviv Museum of Art<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and the film <\/span><b><i>A (Short) List of Things Poetry Loves<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, directed by <\/span><b>Lior Shamir<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.\u00a0 Asaf teaches Ear Training, Music Theory, Keyboards, and Arranging at Rimon and works in areas of Jazz History and various projects.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><b>Eitan Rosenthal, Saxophone\/Woodwinds\/EWI<\/b><\/p>\r\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In addition to his mastery of woodwinds, Eitan produces under the name <\/span><b>TEARABEAT<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and as a partner in the rock duo <\/span><b>Racing Beat<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. He has a certificate from <\/span><b>MUZIK<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and degrees from <\/span><b>Open University<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and the J<\/span><b>erusalem Academy of Music and Dance<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><b>Eitan Itzkovich, Drums and Production<\/b><\/p>\r\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Eitan is a graduate from<\/span><b> Manhattan School of Music<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in New York who also studied at <\/span><b>Berklee College of Music<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. He\u2019s performed at<\/span><b> Monterey Jazz Festival, the Munich Jazz Festival,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and the<\/span><b> Holbronn Festival \u2013 Vienna <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">with <\/span><b>Eli Meiri<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><b>Tamana Brewer<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, at the <\/span><b>Baku, Azerbaijan Jazz Festival<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and countless times at the <\/span><b>Eilat Jazz Festival, the Jazz Festival of Tel Aviv, <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and in various shows throughout Israel. Eitan is one of Israel\u2019s first call session players who has worked with G<\/span><b>an Ahinoam Nini, Yoni Rechter, David Broza, Gali Atari, Yehudit Ravitz, Mika Karni,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and others. He\u2019s also a member of a Jimi Hendrix tribute band and the group The <\/span><b>Hard Jazz Knights<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><b>Moriah Or, Songwriting<\/b><\/p>\r\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Moriah Or graduated from Rimon and earned her Master\u2019s degree in London. She is the founding vocalist of the internationally-acclaimed group <\/span><b>MARBL.\u00a0 <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Moriah\u2019s academic research includes the impact of Israeli music abroad, Israeli artists who write and sing in the English language, their challenges and successes during the last two decades, alongside a wide and in-depth portfolio of songwriting in the English language.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Currently, Moriah teaches in the Songwriting and Composition department at Rimon.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><b>Inbar Friedman, Guitar<\/b><\/p>\r\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Inbar attended <\/span><b>William Paterson University <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">on a full scholarship and performed with musicians such as <\/span><b>Myron Walden, Will Vinson, Steve Cardenas, Aaron Goldberg<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and <\/span><b>Harry Whittaker<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Her self-titled album featured\u00a0 <\/span><b>John Ellis, Yoshi Wookie, <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and <\/span><b>Chris Higginbottom<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.\u00a0 She performed in Europe with<\/span><b> Mediterano<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and the Bulgarian kaval player <\/span><b>Theodosii Spassov<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.
