Don McLean, of \u201cAmerican Pie\u201d fame, invited students to compete for a chance to open for him at his upcoming concert in Israel this June<\/span><\/p>\n

The votes are in! \u00a0After careful selection from all of the extraordinary entries by Rimon\u2019s talented students, \u00a0Don McLean\u2019s production team is pleased to announce that the ensemble selected to open for Mr. McLean is the band comprised of Roy Unger – Vocals, Ofek Naveh – Guitar and Vocals, Uri Barko – Banjo and Vocals, who performed\u00a0<\/span>Castles In The Air<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

The decision was made by audience vote and a committee of Rimon faculty, Ohad Shragai and Oded Davidov, and Don McLean\u2019s production team; Ziv Rubenstein, Avi Ben Shitrit, and Ilan Elkayam<\/span><\/p>\n
